This is my stuff.. | |||||||||||||||||
This is me and my husband Mike. I love him dearly. He is a handy person to have around. He can fix and repair a lot of things. He used to have gray hair, I thought it made him look sexy. But everyone else thought it looked OLD. So anyway, he put my talents to use (i'm a beautician) and colored it. So I guess I have the sexy to look forward to, because he seems to really like that color. That's one of the reasons he said he married me. So he doesn't have to pay for any color, or cuts. But I know, he married me for other reasons. I'm still trying to figure them out. :)
Children... | |||||||||||||||||
These are my children, Jessica 16 (almost 17), Daniel 15, and Matthew 5. Jessica will be a senior at Hampshire High School and Daniel will be a sophmore at the same high school. Matthew will start kindergarten this year at Romney Elementary School. I love Jessica and Daniel as much as I love Matthew, although sometimes I don't think they believe it. Believe me, with two teenagers and a five-year old, life is interesting and it becomes hard to determine which is the five-year old. But, we've managed to become a family.
Current Events... | |||||||||||||||||
This is Matthew wearing his T-Ball uniform. His team is the Braves, and he's pretty good for his first year. He seems to really enjoy it! Now, for those of you who have tried EVERYTHING, as an incentive to stop bed-wetting, and accidents due to laziness, I have finally found Matthews cure. When he was in Head-Start, they would give him a star every time he brought his folder to school. After ten stars, he got to pick something out of the goody box. Now, after ten stars at home, he gets something out of the goody box. How this works, is if he wakes up dry, he gets a star. If he gets ready for bed, and brushes his teeth, he gets a star. If he poops in the potty, he gets a star. If he argues, or gives me a hard time or has accidents, he loses a star. We keep track of the stars with a eraser board on the fridge. One of the keys is to be consistent in giving and taking stars. And lots of love and praise, when he gets a star. So far, it has worked 95% (He woke up wet one day out of the week). Hope this helps!
